Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is going to be the first full-HD mobile from Micromax


With the success of Micromax Canvas 4, Micromax recently introduced the Canvas Tab P650, the first tablet in the Canvas series. It is now alleged that the Indian smartphone manufacturer is in the process of launching the Canvas Turbo A250, its first full HD mobile in the very near future, sometime before Diwali which falls on 3rd November, 2013. The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is set to rival full HD handsets such as the LG G2, Galaxy S4 and HTC One and at an expected price of around Rs 20,000 it is going to give these bigwigs a tough competition, especially on \Indian soil.

The Canvas Turbo A250 is likely to be powered by a MediaTek MT6589T 1.5 GHz quad core SoC. With 2 GB of RAM, the device is set to be good. The smartphone is said to come with 16 GB of onboard memory which is expandable to 64 GB via microSD storage. The Canvas Turbo A250 phone will run on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. On the shooter front, the smartphone will come with a 13 MP primary camera with LED Flash, digital zoom and video recording option for taking precious moments and a 2 MP front facing camera that enables clear video chatting.

It is also mentioned that the Canvas Turbo A250 will offer GSM+GSM dual SIM options, would be Bluetooth ready as well as 3G and Wi-Fi enabled, just like its competitors. Build wise, the Canvas Turbo A250 will have a slimmer body than the Canvas 4.

It is going around the tech world hint at a 5.7-inch capacitive display, just like its predecessor the Canvas A240 or Canvas Doodle 2. If true, then along with a full HD 1080p resolution, Micromax has an absolute winner in its hand. Users can enjoy movies, videos, images, gaming and more like never before.

Also indicated is that at the time of the launch of the Canvas Turbo A250, the company will also roll out Android 4.3 updates for its other bestselling smartphones which include the Micromax Canvas 4, Canvas HD and Canvas Doodle 2.

Apart from foreign brands such as LG, Sony, and Samsung, many Indian brands, , are currently vying against each other in the full HD category. These include the Intex Aqua i7, Gionee Elife E6, and the Spice Pinnacle FHD.

Of course, with the super successful Micromax Canvas 2, Canvas HD and others, Micromax has become the largest smartphone manufacturer in India that offers great handsets at highly affordable prices. Not only are the Micromax mobile devices on par with the top guns but are also appealing in terms of its significantly low pricing, thus making the Indian buyer take a serious pause before squandering his hard earned money on international vendors such as Samsung, LG, Sony and even an iPhone, which offer extra benefits for a considerable difference in pricing.
