MWC 2014 is just around the corner. On February 24 through February 27, we will see some of the most innovative smartphones of this year on display in Barcelona, Spain. What do smartphone manufacturers have in store for us this year? Read below to learn what to get excited about!

HTC One 2

A lot of details have been released about HTC's One 2, though it has not been released yet. HTC's One was a successful device, and we expect the same for its successor. The HTC One 2 will have a screen around 5 inches with a fHD, or 1080p, resolution. The device will have an aluminum unibody, like the HTC One, but without the fingerprint scanner. The One 2 should have a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel rear camera, but possibly with better low-light performance. Lastly, the device will have a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and possibly 3GB of RAM.

LG G3

LG's new flagship device has been hyped up for awhile now. One remarkable aspect of the device is that it is pitted to be released alongside two wearables, the G Arch smartwatch and G Health fitness wristband. The G3  is going to be incredibly powerful with a 5.5-inch QHD, or 1,440 x 2560 pixels, display. The G3 will also have a 16MP rear camera and an octa-core processor, codenamed the LG Odin. Similar to the HTC One 2, the G3 is expected to have 3GB of RAM.

Nokia Normandy

Nokia is branching out into Android smartphones. We have seen top-notch Nokia devices in the past, such as the Lumia 1020 that boasts a 41MP camera. So, what does Nokia have in store for us with the Normandy? The Normandy is expected to be a budget phone, with a 4-inch, 480 x 845 pixel display, a 5MP rear camera, and a Snapdragon processor. The device will come running Android 4.4.1 (KitKat). The device will have a single button below the screen, like the button on the iPhone or on Asha devices.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo

If you want a phone that is both big and powerful, the Galaxy Note series could be for you. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is not quite as big as the recent Galaxy Note 3. It resembles its predecessor the Galaxy Note 2 more, given that it has a 5.55-inch, 720p display, 8MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, and comes with an S Pen. This device also has an intriguing hexa-core processor.

Sony Xperia Z2

The Xperia Z1 was recently released, but we are already seeing a sequel. The Xperia Z1 was meant to offer the same Xperia experience, but in a smaller package. The Xperia Z2 will be slightly larger. The Xperia Z2 will have a 5.2-inch, fHD display with 506ppi, a Snapdragon S800 quad-core processor, and the 20.7MP rear camera that was featured in the Xperia Z1. The device will also have 3GB of RAM. Furthermore, like others in the Xperia series, the Xperia Z2 is waterproof and dustproof.
