It seems Sony is putting efforts to
retain the iconic Xperia brand name in the global mobile market.
Japanese Tech giant, Sony has unveiled an amazing tablet device in
its Xperia lineup. The company has dubbed it as Sony Xperia tablet Z
which is expected to launch in the Month of May, 2013. The device has
been spotted at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and runs on
Google's Android operating system. At the first glance, we can expect
that this tablet will be the world's slimmest LTE tablet as it
measures by 266 x 172 x 6.9 mm. The latest Sony Xperia Tablet Z
pictures are available on various mobile web-portals, so you can have
a look at the pictures for better details regarding the appearance.
The company revealed that the gadget will be available in black or
white and in LTE and WiFi versions. Sony has not yet revealed the
Sony Xperia Tablet Z price, so we have to wait until the launch time.
It has a brilliant display screen of
10.1 inches supporting a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Sony is
known for delivering quality, with this smart device the company once
again proved. The display is powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 that
enhances the clarity and your viewing experience. The display has
many vivid applications like multi-touch up to 10 fingers, shatter
proof and scratch-resistant glass. This ultra light tablet is water
resistant and remain unaffected by 30 minutes under water with a
super-strong glass display. This smartphone on the other hand, packs
with a user internal memory of 16GB along with an expandable memory
slot which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
There is an 8 megapixel camera at back
with autofocus and a supporting resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels.
Apart from the advanced camera features, the device comes loaded with
Exmor R for mobile sensor that allows user to capture gorgeous
pictures with low noise level and in low-light conditions. This
advanced back camera is capable to shoot full length HD videos with
1080 pixels at 30 fps. It has a 2.2 megapixel camera at front that
lets you to make HD video chatting. The camera supports burst mode to
shoot an unlimited number of images at 10 frames per second and
keeping up the same resolution. As it is water resistible device, you
can also capture sharp photos and videos even under.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features
reveal that the mobile consists of a Non-removable Li-Po 6000 mAh
battery which, according to the company delivers, multi media time up
to 10 hours and a standby time of 1270 hours. The device supports a
music playback time of 110 hours on fully charged. Internally, the
device packs with 2GB of RAM memory to support multi-tasking ability.
The pre-loaded applications in this smartphone includes Google
Chrome, Google Maps for Mobile with Street view and Latitude, Google
Play and Google Wallet. The tablet runs on an Android v4.1.2 Jelly
Bean operating system supporting with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait and
Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064. So, with this high end specifications we
can expect that the Sony will have a good time with the launch of
this amazing tablet.
